To respond to recent interest in deep mineralised brines in areas such as Cornwall in the UK and the Rhine Graben in France and Germany, PERC has formed a deep mineralised brines working group to provide a forum for discussion of current frameworks for reporting on the resources and reserves of such deposits, many of which are being assessed as potential sources of lithium, hot water for district heating and electricity generation, or a combination of more than one of these.
