CRIRSCO AGM

This year’s CRIRSCO Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being held in Vancouver in October and will be followed by a conference on the topic of Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves which is being jointly organised by the CRIRSCO and the CIM (Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum).

The CRIRSCO AGM will be held from October 14 through October 16, 2024, with the following schedule:

  • Monday, October 14 (all day): CRIRSCO AGM closed sessions for CRIRSCO members only.
  • Tuesday, October 15 (all day): CRIRSCO AGM open sessions.  During this session, each of the CRIRSCO NROs (National Reporting Organisations) will give a 5-20 minute of the progress and challenges that their organization and region faces.
  • Wednesday, October 16 (morning): Wrap up and regulatory learning.

The MRMR 2024 Conference: Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves, Innovation and Integration

This conference, which is being hosted jointly by CIM and CRIRSCO, will be held immediately after the AGM and will provide an opportunity to share information and experiences with regards to the assessment and reporting of Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves.  This conference is open to anyone interested in this topic to attend. The conference programme is as follows.:

  • Wednesday, October 16 (afternoon) – Friday, October 18: MRMR Symposium – conference presentations.
  • Saturday, October 19: Short Courses.

Holding a conference in conjunction with the AGM is a new initiative and it is hoped that this will provide an opportunity for the representatives attending the AGM and others involved in the mining sector to exchange ideas and discuss topics of interest.
