12th Meggen Raw Material Days is taking place between 15th and 18th September 2026 in Lennestadt, Germany.

This event brings together geoscientists, mining professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss the future of raw materials. The program features sessions on geoethics, raw materials policy, critical minerals, sustainable mining, AI in geosciences, science communication, and public affairs, alongside networking opportunities and expert-led discussions.

A one day training event will take place on 18th September titled “From Science to Decisions: A Hands-On Public Affairs Lab for Geoscientists” and focuses on helping geoscientists translate technical expertise into effective policy and public affairs communication.
