There is still time to register for the Online Training course: An Introduction to the CRIRSCO Family of Reporting Codes which is being organised by the GSL in cooperation with PERC.

This course will consist of weekly online sessions of 1-1.5 hours every Thursday afternoon from 1st February to 21st March as detailed below:

  • 1 Feb: Module 1: Introduction to minerals reporting and classification of estimates
  • 8-Feb: Module 2: Competency: The role of Professional Organisations and the Competent Person
  • 15-Feb: Module 3 public reports: Report types, requirements, content and supporting information
  • 22 Feb: Module 4: Understanding the modifying factors and how to assess and report on “Reasonable Prospects for Eventual Economic Extraction (RPEEE)
  • 29 Feb: Module 5: Assessment and reporting of environmental, social and governance aspects
  • 7 Mar: Module 6: UNFC, CRIRSCO-UNFC Bridging Document
  • 14 Mar: Module 7: The Table 1 checklist of assessment criteria – what it is and how to use it
  • 21 Mar: Module 8: Assessment and Reporting of Risk/Uncertainty aspects

It is possible to participate in one or two modules of interest only, if you are not interested in the full course.  Whilst the course is aimed primarily at GSL members, the GSL are offering discounted prices for members of the other PERC participating organisations, as well as for members of professional organisations linked to other CRIRSCO member organisations.
