“Critical Raw Material Resource Classification and Reporting using UNFC and CRIRSCO”
Dublin, Ireland, 4 June 2026.
PERC and the IGI are pleased to announce that they are organising a one-day training event in Dublin on 4 June on the topic of “Critical Raw Material Resource Classification and Reporting using UNFC and CRIRSCO”.
This event will be held at the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment’s Tom Johnson House, Haddington Road, Dublin, D04K7X4.
The event is aimed at providing those working in the minerals industry and government departments with responsibility for this sector to learn more about the specific requirements of, and reporting systems used, by those working in industry and government. The event will be of particular interest to those wishing to learn more about the implications of the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act for minerals reporting in Europe.
It is envisaged that this event will consist of the following elements:
- Morning session with presentations explaining the differing requirements of government and industry, an overview of the CRIRSCO reporting framework with specific reference to the PERC Reporting Standard, and the application of the UNFC to Minerals. It is anticipated that it will be possible to join this session remotely.
- Networking lunch
- Afternoon workshop session which will offer some practical tips on reviewing reports prepared using the CRIRSCO and UNFC systems, together with the use of the CRIRSCO Template to UNFC Bridging Document. In is anticipated that this session will be an in-person event only.
